Welcome!  I am LD Garrison, who with my husband, Earl, are owners of Spare Time Tack.  We moved to Hawkins in 2006 from Lindale, where I had resided for over 14 years.  We just love the smaller towns and with Lindale growing like it was, thought it was time to move on.  We’ve always been busy with some kind of side job outside our Monday thru Friday jobs, and with our apartment sitting empty, decided to open a tack & consignment shop there.  This gives us the opportunity to do some things at home, yet still be able to maintain the shop.  With only being open a few days a week, we are able to continue most of our church activities and do things with our horses.  Our long term goal is to have the shop open 5 days a week and with the continued support of our customers, this is a very real possibility!  Thanks to so many of you who have consigned your items with us and to the others who have shopped with us, making this all a wonderful work in progress.
